Mildred "Millie" Lenore Roberts, age 95, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 14, 2008, in Westminster Thurber Retirement Community in Columbus, Ohio.  The family would like to thank all her care givers for all the exceptional service and love they gave over the years.
Millie was born in Sunbury, Ohio, on August 13, 1913.  The daughter of the late Worley Graham and Lois Ruth (Piper) Young.  Mrs. Roberts was a bow maker for the former Walker J. Dickerson Shoe Company and the former Julan Kokenge Shoe Company, both in Columbus, Ohio.
She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who had a great impact on all our lives and those who knew her.  She left us with wonderful memories and she will be missed by two sons, Raymond Thomas (Carole) Roberts Jr. of Columbus, Ohio and Richard Yance (Beverly) Roberts of Goodyear, Arizona; three daughters, Yancey Ann (James) Zimmer, Mary Margaret (Roger) Pry and Jane Ellen (Richard) McKay, all of Columbus; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen I. Roberts of Columbus, 24 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph Young of Marion, Ohio, Tom Young of Terri Haute, Indiana and Harold Young of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Mary Fry and Ruth Rowland both of Marion, Ohio.  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thomas Roberts (Jan. 20, 1991); a son, James William Roberts (1997); one sister and three brothers.  
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m.; Thursday September 18, 2008, in Pope John XXIII Catholic Church, Canal Winchester, Ohio, with Msgr. A Anthony Frecker, officiating and Deacon Roger F. Pry, assisting.  
Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio.
Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.  Arrangements are by Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.  Letters of condolence to the family may be posted at www.robertsfuneralhomelogan.com
