Dennis McCann Jr., also known as "Tony", of Logan, Ohio, died Thursday, October 9, 2008, in Hocking Valley
Community Hospital after a brief illness. Born September 30, 1928, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Dennis and
Lilian McCann Sr. He was married for 54 years to Betty Jane (Henthorn) McCann who passed away July, 2006. Mr. McCann had been
employed as a warehouse clerk for 20 years with the Defense Construction Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio. He had served
in the military for 22 years as a member of the Army Air Corps, the Air Force and the Navy Reserves and had served during
the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making fire starters, and collecting coins as hobbies. Surviving are four
sons; David McCann, Michael (Sheena) McCann, Mark (Carol) McCann, all of Logan and Dennis (Kay) McCann of Canal Winchester,
Ohio; one daughter, April McCann Whitmer of Newark, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one brother, William Frederick
McCann. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2008, in the Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio, with
Rev. Kenny A. Kidd, officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Enterprise, Ohio. Friends may call Tues. from 9:00
a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
