He was the son of the late Beatrice M. (Achauer) and Homer Nelson Skiver

Mr. Skiver was a retired commercial truck driver
An Army veteran of the Korean Conflict

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Skiver and a sister, Dorothy Warner

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., November 4, 2008, in Smith-Chapel Cemetery, Green Township, Hocking County, Ohio, with Pastor Phil Stevens, officiating
