Thomas Joseph Clendenen, Age 68
New Straitsville, Ohio formerly of Pueblo, Colorado.

Died Tuesday, December 16, 2008, in Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.

Born February 26, 1940, in Thornville, Ohio
The son of the late Francis and Annabelle Harriett (Kuhn) Clendenen

Mr. Clendenen was a retired maintenance technician from the Trane Co., Pueblo, Colorado
A U.S. Navy veteran
Member of the Logan Eagles Lodge and the National Rifle Association (NRA)
Survivors:
    Wife..................Rosella Virginia (Smith) Clendenen---Logan, Ohio

    Two daughters.......Lori (Jim) Bailey-------------------------Elko, Nevada
                                 Delana (Shawn Cook) McCarthy------Ft. Worth, Texas

    Three grandchildren..Timothy V. (Brooke) Toops-----------Elko, Nevada
                                   Asia Bailey------------------------------Elko, Nevada
                                   William McCarthy---------------------Ft. Worth, Texas

    One great-grandson...Timothy A.Toops----------------------Elko, Nevada

    One brother......... Leroy (Anna) Clendenen-----------------Pataskala, Ohio
    One sister.............Lyndel A. (Carlos) Taylor---------------Lancaster, Ohio
    Several nieces and nephews
    Several brothers and sisters-in-law
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Thomas A. Toops

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2008, in the Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, with Rev. William Barnett, officiating.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home, where an Eagles Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 pm
Military Service will be conducted by the Reynoldsburg, Ohio, VFW Honor Guard.
