Jerry Richard  Carmean, Age 70
Logan, Ohio

Died unexpectedly at his residence, Wednesday, December 24, 2008.

Born April 2, 1938 in Greenfield, Ohio
Son of the late Cloyde and Mary Frances (Hedges) Carmean

Jerry was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Cuban Missile Crisis
He had received a B.S. Degree in Education and also a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, both from Ohio University, Athens.
An Ohio Professional Electrical Engineer having retired from WOUB with Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
Mr. Carmean had formerly installed the original WLGN radio station in Logan where he served as chief engineer for numerous years.
Member of the Logan Rotary Club and the Lancaster Antique Tractor Club and the Lancaster Ohio Car Club
Attended the First Baptist Church in Logan.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Sunday in the Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, with Rev. Kenneth A. Kidd, officiating.

Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery, Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio

Friends may call Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
