Son of the late Hugh William and Edna (Kienzle) Rittgers

Mr. Rittgers was a retired U.S. Navy veteran with 24 years of service.
Harley had also been a self-employed heating and air conditioning technician
Member of the United Methodist Church of Union Furnace
Member of the Hocking County Farm Bureau and the Hocking County Beekeepers Association.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lee (Applegate) Rittgers (2003);  two brothers, Allison "Alley" and Ronald Rittgers; and by a sister, Donna Snyder.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., December 31, 2008, in the Roberts Funeral Home, Logan.
Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Rushcreek Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, where a military service will be conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
