Paul Francis "Bud" Fox, Age 86
Dublin, Ohio (formerly of Logan, Ohio) died Thursday, February 5, 2009,
in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, after a brief illness.
Born May 17, 1922 in Logan, Ohio. He was
the son of the late Leo Bernard and Evelyn Iva (Haley) Fox.
Mr. Fox was the Vice President of Hocking Valley Steel Erectors
and a 50 year member of the Iron Workers Union.
He was President of the 1940 Logan High School class.
A member of
the U.S. Army Air Corps, having served during World War II
A member of the Elks Lodge.
Bud was a member of St. Bridget
of Kildare Catholic Church in Dublin, Ohio and a former active member of St. John Catholic Church
In Logan,
where he was a member of the church choir.
One of his passions was RVing while traveling throughout the United States
and Canada.
His main passion was his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife................. Anna Marie
(Shorr) Fox of Dublin, Ohio (with whom he would have celebrated his 63rd wedding anniversary on February 6th)

Dick (Minnie) Fox of Branchville, New Jersey
Barney (Donna) Fox of Rochester, New York
Pat (Judi) Fox of Logan, Ohio
Tim (Kathy) Fox of Carbon Hill, Ohio
Two daughters......Kitty Fox of Dublin, Ohio
Paula (Ed) Sheridan of Troy, Ohio
Son-in-law..........Rick Dygert of Dublin, Ohio
Two sisters..........Rosamond Anderson-Wilson of Logan, Ohio
Kate Londergan of London, Ohio
26 grandchildren - 5 great-grandchildren - many nieces and nephews
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter,
Bridget Dygert.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 9, 2009, in St. John Catholic Church,
Logan, with Monsignor William A. Dunn, officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, where a military service
will be conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Roberts Funeral
Home, Logan, where a Christian Vigil Service will be held at 4:00 p.m.
