Zerna Marguerette Stiverson, 93, Logan, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Logan Health Care    Center.  
Born November 28, 1915, in New Straitsville, Ohio; the daughter of the late Marvin V. and Clara A. (Neely) Lackey.  She was the widow of Walter E. Stiverson Sr., who died September 8, 1994.

Mrs. Stiverson was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church;  a retired clerk from Elberfeld's Department Store in Logan, a member of the class of 1934 and a member of the O.E.S. #447, Waterloo, Ohio.

Survived by two sons, Walter E. (Carol) Stiverson Jr. of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina and Chris D. (Kathy) Stiverson of Logan; a daughter Mary A. (Don) Baker, Patriot, Ohio; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter; and a brother, Chester Lackey of Logan.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Albert and Herbert Marvin Lackey.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2009, in St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Logan, with Pastor Mark J. Daniels, officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan.

Friends may call Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home, Logan and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
