Elaine Marie Meyers passed away March 9, 2009 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio.

She was born March 2, 1924 in Charlotte, Michigan to the late Ivo H. and Maude (Anthony) Huston.

In Logan, Elaine was Co-Executive Director of the Hocking County Red Cross for many years and a founding supporter of Hocking County CHAP. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Logan.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dale Meyers of Logan, Ohio; Son, Perry (Rogina) Meyers of Canal Winchester, Ohio; daughter Sandra (Anthony) Agosta of Akron, Ohio; two grandchildren, Jenna and Simon Meyers of Canal Winchester, Ohio; and sister, Jane Hale of Charlotte, Michigan.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters Margurite Ide and Jean Lipsey.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Friday, March 13, 2009 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 258 East Hunter Street, Logan, Ohio with Reverend Mark J. Daniels officiating.

Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 pm at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio and from 10 am until time of service at the church.
