Anna Almetda (Waymer) Yarber, age 79 of Logan, Ohio passed away Monday, March 30, 2009 after an extended illness at her son's home where she resided.

Born June 16, 1929 in Beaumont, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Floyd and Ada May (Hart) Waymer.

Mrs. Yarber was a retired supervisor with Tri-County Community Action Food Bank.

Mrs. Yarber enjoyed bingo, weekend family fishing getaways, shopping at the Volunteers of America, afternoon rides in the country and celebrating the Fourth of July.

She is survived by daughter Regina R. (Craig) Barnes of Sheldon, Iowa; son, Matthew A. (Crystal) Henderson of Logan, Ohio; sister Donna (John) Thompson of Logan, Ohio; nine grandchildren and their spouses; several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Henderson (1989) and second husband Charles Junior Yarber (1995); son, Daniel Henderson and two sisters, Pauline Gilkey and Cora Waymer.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Reverend King Kelly officiating.

Burial will be in Augustine Cemetery, Dover Township, Athens County, Ohio

Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
