Floyd Earl Gardner, age 89 of Logan, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Arcadia Acres Nursing Home, Ilesboro, Ohio.

Born May 1, 1919 in Logan, Ohio, he was the son of the late Francis Corwin and Ola Mildred (Shultz) Gardner.

Mr. Gardner was a twenty-four year employee of the former Sunglow Industries of Logan, and a former employee of Buckeye Mart and Ray-O-Vac in Lancaster, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Chrystal Annabelle (Richards) Gardner of Ilesboro, Ohio; son, Kenneth L. Gardner of Logan, Ohio and sister, June (Frederick B. III) Hill of Pataskala, Ohio.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Francis Gardner.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Mary Jane Newman officiating.

Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery, Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

Friends may call today from 6-8 pm at the funeral home, and Mrs. Gardner will receive guests Thursday from 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
