Lawrence Dicken, age 72, of Logan, Ohio fell asleep
in death on Friday, May 15, 2009.
Born April 16, 1937 in Logan, Ohio he was the son of the
Late Marvin and Sarepta Mae (Easterling) Dicken.
Mr. Dicken had served the
City of Columbus as a police officer for 34 years; he was an avid varmint hunter and motorcyclist and loved listening to music.
He is survived by three daughters, Caprice Dicken, Christine (Tedd) Bowman, and Lory (Tim) Pierce; four
grandchildren, Alexis (Anthony) Scriven, Rex (Kitt) Pierce, Riley Bowman and Liza Pierce; two brothers, Willis (Harriet) Dicken,
Carl (Carla) Dicken; three sisters Barbara Jo Brown, Jane Adams and Quinnette (Paul) Allender; several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Jim Adams and
Paul Brown, and nephew David Dicken.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 19,
2009 at the Moose Lodge, 701 East Front Street, Logan, Ohio. Friends and Family are invited to attend and share their memories
of Lawrence.
