Neil Dawley, age 83 of Logan, Ohio passed away
Saturday, July 4, 2009 at the Pickering House Hospice Facility in Lancaster, Ohio after a brief illness.
Born September 1, 1925, in Carbon Hill, Ohio, he was the son
of the late Ivor Dawley and Madge (Ferrenburg) Stoughton.
Mr. Dawley was a Diesel Mechanic, Truck Driver and Heavy Equipment Operator at Green Township Garage for 18 years. He
was also a World War II U. S. Marine Corps veteran, having served in the Pacific Theater.
He is survived by two daughters, Denise A. Person of Logan,
Ohio and Patricia B. (Ron) Grizzel of Bulls Gap, Tennessee; two sister-in-laws, Nancy Jane Dawley of Enterprise, Ohio and
Bonnie Jung of San Bernardino, California; five grandchildren, Tammy (David Groff) and Tom Person, both of Logan, Ohio, Kyle,
Kristopher and Kurt Grizzel, all of Bulls Gap, Tennessee.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn B. (Boyle) Dawley (2007), two brothers, Keith and Donald
Dawley. and sister Doris Spence.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Deacon Don Robers officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery,
New Straitsville, Ohio.
