Nancy Jane Patton, age 72 of Logan,
Ohio passed away Monday, July 20, 2009 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Born December
29, 1936 in Springfield, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Roy Bashford and Marcella (Cain) Patton Sr. Ms. Patton was a Licensed Physical Therapist with a Ph.D. in Anatomy and was a Professor at Boston College,
University of Kentucky, University of South Carolina, University of Wisconsin and most recently Cleveland State University.
Besides teaching, Ms. Patton enjoyed quilting, was an avid traveler and a member of the First Methodist Church Choir in Lancaster,
Ohio.
She is survived by one sister, Susan Jean (Patton) Stilwell of Logan, Ohio; numerous
nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers,
William Manning and Roy B. Patton Jr. and one sister Mary Elizabeth Patton.
A Memorial Service
will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Reverend Sam Halverson officiating.
Friends may call Saturday from 12:00pm until time of service at 1:00pm.
