Born December 31, 1923 in Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Harry James and Nellie Ray (Ord) Smith.

Mrs. Harvey was a member of the Logan Congregation of Jehovah's Witness Organization and a Plant Assembly Worker for the Essex Wire Company, Lancaster, Ohio.

She is survived by one son, Robert G. Harvey of Logan, Ohio; one daughter, Patricia D. Finck of Lancaster, Ohio; one brother, John Smith of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; three grandchildren, James Hensler, Kelley Hensler and Julia Bader; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Hensler, McKenzie Pierce and Raelyn Bader; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis L. Harvey (1970) and four sisters, Hilda E. Thomas, Rachel Mae Bissell, Betty June Johnson and Rosie Eileen Farrell.

Funeral Service will be held 12 noon Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Elder Eladio Saldana officiating.

Burial will follow at Shaw Cemetery, Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

Friends may call Wednesday from 2-8 pm and 10:00am until time of service at noon, Thursday at the funeral home.
