Born November 25, 1934 in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Francis and Mary Olive (Brooks) Shanley.

    Pat's life revolved around her family, she was and avid camper, the best mother anybody could have and welcomed the company of family and friends.

    She is survived by four sons, Steven C. (Becky) Leasure of Logan, Ohio, Harold F. "Howie" (Mindy Ingram) Sheets, Jr. of Millersport, Ohio, Mark A. (Kim) Sheets of Logan, Ohio and William J. (Samantha) Gates of Amesville, Ohio; three daughters, Cyndie B. Goines, Lisa M. (Dwayne Ratliff) Sheets and Penny N. (Danny) Williams all of Logan, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren, Stephanie Wilson, Sarah Smith, Shane Leasure, Chase L. Goines, Sara and Dani Sheets, Quincey R. and Branson S. Sheets, Danielle, Lindsay and Tyler Williams, Kayla, Taylor, Bryce and Payton Gates; five great grandchildren, Jewel Wilson, Holly and Trenton Smith, Ethan Barbee and Rylee Grace Van Sickle; brother,  Michael Shanley of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and sister Catherine Harowski of Dayton, Ohio.

    Besides her parents she is preceded in death by brother, Thomas Shanley; sisters, Susan Ward and Eugenia Hoy son-in-law, Gilbert L. Goines, and great granddaughter, Sierra Thrush.

    Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Monsignor William A. Dunn officiating.

    Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

    Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and also Thursday from 12 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
