   Mark D. Wylie, age 56, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 11, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio, to Mary C. (Stover) & the late Mark W. Wylie. Including his mother, he is survived by his loving wife and caregiver, Lorie (Barry) Wylie, his treasured daughter, Kimberly, brother William Strader, sister Janet (James) Watson, mother-in-law Betty McCoy and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws Christina and Doug, Pat and Kim, and Robby. He is also survived by dear friends "Doc," Paul, Gary, "Hap," Dale, and "Bucky," as well as his beloved beagles, Fred, Jack and Hunter.

   Upon graduating from the University of Tennessee, Mark taught Science for 21 years at Grove City High School, where he also coached baseball and golf, winning numerous championships. Mark also designed and owned the Ridge at Laurel Golf Course in Gibsonville, Ohio, retiring due to illness. The family would like to express their gratitude to the OSU James Cancer Hospital, Dr. Joseph Flynn, Weihong Hu, Nurse Practioner, and all the nurses and aids on the 7th and 10th Floors. Also the family would like to thank Fairfield Visiting Nurses, especially Sandy and Gale.

   Funeral Service will be held 11:00am, Friday, November 6, 2009 in the Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, with Reverend John T. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Laurel Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

   Friends may call Thursday, from 6-8pm and Friday from 9am until time of service at the funeral home.
