Ray Edward Rothgeb, age 80 of Rockbridge, Ohio passed away Saturday,
November 7, 2009 in the Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Born May 13, 1929 in Salem, Ohio, he was the son of the late Delbert Edward and Esad M. (Lohngs)
Rothgeb.
Mr. Rothgeb served 21 years in the United States Navy having served during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Era.
Ray held a private pilots license and was a life member of the VFW and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife Paulette
Ann (Prince) Rothgeb; one son, John Wolfe of COlumbus, Ohio; three daughters, Kathy R. (Lorne) Wallace, Chardon Ohio; Kimberly
R. (fiancé, Glenn Grubb), Delaware, Ohio and Donna Mulholland, Marysville, Ohio, and seven grandchildren.
Besides
his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Clarke M. Rothgeb; step-father and his first wife, Vivian Rothgeb.
