John Allan Ondusky, 68, of Logan, passed away, Saturday November 14,
2009, unexpectedly at the Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio.
He was born July 5, 1941in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Son of the late John and Stella Rose (Sobota) Ondusky.
Mr. Ondusky served
four years in U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was a factory worker, having worked for several industries in the area
having retired from the Ohio Paper Board Corporation, Baltimore, Ohio.
He was a member of the Saint John Catholic Church where he was an usher for the 5 p.m. mass on Saturday as well
as a member of the Knights of Columbus- Saint James Council #2299. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers
fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Cecilia
"Sue" (Villers) Ondusky; one daughter, Dawn Marie Ondusky Logan; one brother Ronald Ondusky, Wheeling West Virginia;
brother-in-laws Joseph (Sue) Villers, Proctor West Virginia; Mike (Kay) Villers, Logan, Ohio; Sister-in Laws Barb (Mike) McGhee,
Logan, Ohio; Patricia (Ray) Allison, Junction City, Ohio; Marianne Rossi, Deep River, Connecticut; numerous nieces, nephews,
friends and very special friend Boo the Kitten.
Besides his parents,
he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Ondusky.
Funeral Mass will
be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in Saint John Catholic Church, Logan, Ohio with Monsignor William A. Dunn
officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Friends may call
Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, where a Christian Vigil Service will be held at 6:00 pm.
