   Douglas Junior Sigler, 77, of Logan, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 16, 2009 at Logan Health Care Center, Logan, Ohio.

   Born March 17, 1932 in Kanauga, Ohio, he was the son of the late Douglas Syrus and Alpha Catherine (Lane) Sigler.

   Mr. Sigler worked at the former Carborundum Company for 25 years, and retired from the Logan-Hocking School District in 1995. He was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran, a member of the First Church of Christ, Logan, Ohio, an avid bowler for most of his life and enjoyed playing golf.

    He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alexander and Victoria Lane.

   He is survived by wife of 53 years, Helen Marie (Dupler) Sigler; one son, Michael Eugene (Dreama) Sigler; three daughters, Pamela Jean (Dave) Kilkenny, Amy Louise (Dan) Laird, and Jodi Lynette (Chris) Joseph; one brother, John (Shirley) Sigler; four sisters, Gladys (Bill) Beavers, Shirley (Gerald) Carter, Karen (Don) Vermillion and Linda Sigler; five grandchildren, Rob and Sarah Sigler; Derek and Kyle Kilkenny; Haley Wagoner; three step-grandchildren, Brandon and Justin Bell and Megan Laird, also many nieces and nephews.

   Funeral will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Reverend Andrew Good and Reverend Mark Barrell officiating.

   Entombment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Good-Hope Township, Hocking County, Ohio, where Military Honors will be given by the Hocking County Honor Guard.

   Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the funeral home.
