Born December 17, 1958 in Nelsonville, Ohio, she was the daughter of Floyd Pearl  and Marjorie Jane Ann (Mohler) Strawn.

     Kelly was a homemaker who loved horses, sunshine and flowers.  Her hobbies were writing poetry, growing plants, wood burning, canning and keeping her kids in check.

     She is survived by three sons, Brendan Scott  Smith of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Justin Timothy (Lacey) Iles and Austin Duel Mohler both of Logan, Ohio; one daughter, Stephanie Renee (Brian) Smith-Seibel of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.  She is also survived by two brothers, Ted (Shirley) Strawn of Columbus, Ohio, and Shawn (Kim) Strawn of Nelsonville, Ohio; and one sister, Beverly (Rob) Hemsworth of Logan, Ohio. 

     A funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Reverend Marvin Walker officiating.

     Burial will take place at Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, Monday Creek Township, Perry County, Ohio following the funeral service.

     Friends may call Thursday, from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
