William Thomas Shelton, age 78 of
Logan, Ohio, passed away January 25, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Born March 8, 1931 in Ross County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Truman T. and Mary
Belle (Pence) Shelton.
Bill was the manager for Hocking Auto Parts for thirty-four years and
had worked as a clerk for Saving Hardware in Logan. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the
American Legion. He attended Saint John Catholic Church in Logan.
He is survived by
his loving wife Carol Jean (Sater) Shelton; one daughter, Debra Ann Shelton of Middleport, Ohio; step-son, Michael Thomas
(Ammie) O'Donnell of Sherrodsville, Ohio; step-daughter, Debra Denise (Jon) Juracich of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren,
Ashleigh, Alyssa, Jimmy O'Donnell and Kyle Juracich; Several special friends and relatives and special pet "Pepper".
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by wives; Betty & Martha Shelton and one sister, Margaret
Wilcoxen.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday January 28, 2010 at the Roberts
Funeral Home Logan with Pastor Don Byard officiating.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4
and 6-8 pm where a Christian Vigil Service will be held at 8:00pm in the funeral home with Deacon Donald A. Robers and Monsignor
James A. Geiger officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery Logan.
