Lawrence Bernard Wilkins Jr. age 95 of Logan, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at The Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born February 9, 1915 in Lancaster, Ohio, he was the son of the late Lawrence Bernard  and Anna Cecile (Lape) Wilkins Sr..

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty eight years, Daisy Ellen (Behrens) Wilkins; two daughters, Diane J. Gallagher of Logan, Ohio and Marie (Tom) Hardin Pavlik of Worthington, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Lt. John (Liz) Pavlik, George Pavlik, Ben, Kevin and Jeremy Hardin, Jared (Casandra) Gallagher, Leah (Mikah) Ricard, Cori (Matt) Forrest, and two great-grandsons, Malak and Eli Gallagher. He is also survived by several special nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Wilkins; sister, Helen Albertson and two sons, George Anthony Pavlik and John H. Pavlik Jr.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Friday, May 28, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Logan, Ohio with Reverend Danny R. Koch officiating.

Burial will follow in Dutch Hollow Cemetery, Amanda Township, Fairfield County, Ohio.

Friends may call from Thursday from 5-8 pm at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio and Friday from 9:00 am until time of service at the church.
