Audrey "Peggy" Stratton age 110 of Logan, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the Hocking Valley Community Hospital- Skilled Nursing Unit.

 Born February 18, 1900 in Blatchford, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Ira Sylvester and Kathryn Ellen (Lanning) Hellyer.

 Mrs. Stratton taught Elementary school in Athens and Hocking County, Ohio. She attended Ohio University and worked as a secretary for Stratton Motors and Wright Insurance Agency, both of Nelsonville, Ohio.

 She is survived by one son, Joe Edward (Virginia) Stratton of Centennia, Colorado, two grandsons, Jonathan (Lissa) Stratton of Orlando, Florida and Barton (Charlotte) Stratton of La Crescenta, California; four great-grandchildren and five nieces.

 Besides her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Edward Henry Stratton who passed away in 1938, two brothers, John & Charles Hellyer, four sisters, Juanita Powell, Elizabeth Sanborn, Ethel Powell and Lillian Wilson.

 A private graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, in Greenlawn Cemetery, York Township, Athens County, Ohio with the Reverend Gerald R. Frazee officiating.
