Joseph John Trapp, age 74 of Logan, Ohio passed away Monday, June 7, 2010, at his residence.

 Born March 19, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Boughal) Trapp.

Mr. Trapp was a Marine Corps Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He later earned a bachelors degree and was a former manager for Bank One. He was a former elder and president of church council and member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Lancaster, Ohio.  Joe believed in God, Family and Country.

He is survived by his wife, Sidney Louise (Francis) Trapp; two sons, Father Joseph Trapp and Stephen Trapp; five daughters, Betty Ann Trapp, Ann Marie Trapp, Pamela (Frank) McNeese, Cindy (Brad) Herold and Elizabeth Hurley; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Lancaster Ohio with Pastor Mark R. Raddatz officiating.

Fellowship Hour will be held at church from noon until 1 pm

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's memory may be made to the Emanuel Lutheran Church Building Fund, 231 East Mulberry Street Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
