Donna JoAnn Kuhn, Logan, Ohio passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio.

    Born May 20, 1936 in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Alva and Nellie Eveline (Woolever) Richards.

    Mrs. Kuhn had been a member of Saint John Catholic Church and had been very active in the Hocking County 4-H program, having been an advisor for over thirty years. Donna operated a home bakery for several years baking cakes, cookies, and making holiday candies; she baked hundreds of birthday and wedding cakes for family and friends, worked several years on the Membership Committee for Hocking County Farm Bureau and earned many trips for her efforts. She crocheted lots of baby afghans for family and neighbors and was an avid reader.

    She is survived by her loving husband, John Edward Kuhn; five daughters, Catherine M. "Cathy" (Kevin) Kerns of Gibsonville, Ohio, Elizabeth "Beth" Ogg of Logan, Ohio, Sharon (Rod) Elder, of Lancaster, Ohio, Theresa L. (Jon) Schultheiss of Logan, Ohio, Sandy Kuhn of Stoutville, Ohio; two brothers, Virgil A. Richards Jr. of Logan, Ohio and Larry (Donna) Richards of Lancaster, Ohio; sister, Lillian (Howard) Sellers of Eastlake, Ohio; brother-in-laws, Charles (Bonnie) Kuhn of Lancaster, Ohio and Jim Kuhn of Logan, Ohio; sister-in-laws, Ellyn Kuhn of Logan, Ohio and Sandy (Ron) Klausing of Lancaster, Ohio; six grandsons, Johnathan (Elizabeth) Ogg of Johnstown, Ohio, Kyle Kerns of Lancaster, Ohio, Steven (Kalena) Ogg of Logan, Ohio, Christopher (Emily VanVoorhis) Kerns of Hockingport, Ohio, Cory (Samantha Lutz) Kerns of Sugar Grove, Ohio and Timothy Elder of Lancaster, Ohio; six precious great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

    Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert Kuhn and Catherine Meyer.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, June 17 at Saint John Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio with Monsignor William A. Dunn officiating.

    Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Benton Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

    Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home Logan, Ohio, where a Christian Vigil Service will be held at 8 pm.
