A graveside service was held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in Knollwood Cemetery, for Roger Dean McCune, who passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the Logan Health Care Center in Logan, Ohio. Reverend Stephen R. Hubbard officiated.

 Born July 10, 1948, in Logan, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ernest Elwood and Dorothy Marie (Bougher) McCune.

 Roger had worked as a Tube-Line Operator for the Logan Glass Plant (General Electric) Logan, Ohio and formerly for Smead Manufacturing Company also of Logan, Ohio. He was a member of the Logan Moose Lodge in Logan, Ohio.

 He is survived by one son, Carl "Christopher" McCune of Lancaster, Ohio; daughter, Tammy Sue (Andrew A.) Thompson of Logan, Ohio and three grandchildren, Tyler Wright of Logan, Ohio, Jacob McCune of New Straitsville, Ohio & Jillian McCune of Lancaster, Ohio.

 Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Elwood McCune.

 The family requests that donations in Roger's name be made to the American Cancer Society 900 Michigan Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

 Family was served by the Roberts Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio.
