Hollis Vivan Hart
age 91, of Logan, Ohio passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at his residence.
Born October 14, 1918 in Laurelville, Ohio, he was the son of the late, Allen Benjamin and Margaret
Ann (Graham) Hart.
Mr. Hart was a retired dozer
operator for Benedict Inc. of McArthur, Ohio, a U.S. Army Veteran having served during WWII.
Hollis is survived by two sons, Jerry (Linda) Hart and Gary Lee Hart both of Lancaster, Ohio;
eight daughters, Leona Woodard of Logan, Ohio Marcella Kelly, of Columbus, Ohio, Oda (James) Pascarella of Lancaster, Ohio,
Shirley McMillin of Glouster, Ohio, Patsy (Charles) Reynolds of Logan, Ohio, Reba (Terry) Reynolds of Columbus, Ohio, Rita
(Steve) Vandargriff of Laurelville, Ohio and Wilma Wright of Newark, Ohio; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren
and several great-great grandchildren.
Besides
his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Katherine Clarastine (Hartshorn) Hart (1996), two sons, Odis E. and David
Ray Hart, four brothers, Fillmore, Orville, Milford and Francis Hart; two sisters, Lillie Hill and Agnes McNichols.
Graveside service will be held at 11 am Friday, July 9 in
the Knollwood Cemetery, Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio with the Reverend Charles E. Fiddler officiating. A military
service will be conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
