Lucille Mae "Lucy" McCune, age 80, of New Lexington, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the Logan Health Care Center in Logan, Ohio after an extended illness.

     Born September 8, 1929 in Morgan County, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold Eugene and Gertude Mae (Spencer) Oliver.

     Lucille was a factory worker for fifty years, having worked at RBM in Lancaster, Ohio and had retired from United Technologies in Zanesville, Ohio.

     She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann (James) Gordon of Logan, Ohio; two grandchildren, Gail Lynn (Chris) Schrader of Union Furnace, Ohio and Jason Nathaniel (Trish) Shumaker of Belpre, Ohio and three great grandchildren.

     Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband, Harley Clyde McCune (1952) and two brothers, Dale and Paul Oliver.

     Friends may call Thursday from 1-7 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio where a funeral service will be held at 7 pm with the Reverend Filmore G. Ashcraft officiating.

     Burial will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens,Good-Hope Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

     In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to a charity of one's choice or The Hocking County Humane Society, 36960 Hocking Drive, Logan, Ohio 43138.
