Malcom Wayne
"Gibby" Gibson, age 67 of Logan, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 at O.S.U. Medical Center in Columbus,
Ohio after an extended illness.
Born August
17, 1943, in Rumsey, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Daws and Dorothy (Tucker) Gibson.
Malcom retired from Logan General Electric Plant after thirty-three years of service where he
worked as a machinist, he was a member of Logan Eagles 2168 and Logan Moose 873.
He is survived by his loving wife of twelve years, Patricia Sue (West) Border-Gibson; children,
Delane Gibson, Kim (Todd) Parson and Daren Gibson all of Kentucky, Patty Spencer and Debbie (Roger) Starr both of New Straitsville,
Ohio, Melinda Sayer and Sharon Monroe both of Logan, Ohio, Trevor Border of Lancaster, Ohio, Troy Border of Tennessee and
son-in-law, Glen Sayre of Logan, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, one brother John Earl (Doris) Gibson
of Kentucky; one sister, Donna Daye of Texas; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ralph (Sheila) West, Bill (Paula) West,
Jim (Dee) Breining all of Logan, Ohio; special friends, Julie (Tracy) Stalling of Crooksville, Ohio, Andy (Linda) Lako of
Kirkersville, Corey (Jo Ellen) Davis of Logan, Ohio and Bob (Nancy) Chambers of Columbus, Ohio; special aunt, Lila Fitts of
Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Besides
his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Geneiva Gibson, son, Jeff Gibson, stepsons, Ty and Tad Border and
brother-in-law, Tom West.
Funeral service
will be held, 1:00 pm Monday, February, 14, 2011 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Reverend Marvin Walker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery,
Logan Ohio.

5-8 pm at the funeral home.
