Joseph "Joe" Samuel Poling

Joseph “Joe” Samuel Poling, aged 42 of Logan, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Born November 6, 1981 in Lancaster, Ohio, he was the son of the late John Wesley and Carolyn Sue (Bailey) Poling Sr.

Joe worked as an HAB supervisor at Goodwill. He was a fan of all kinds of music, but his favorite artist was Elvis Presley. He was also an avid Ohio State and Dallas Cowboys fan. Joseph was an amazing father. He always wanted to make his daughters feel loved and did just that. He especially loved telling his daughters corny dad jokes.

Joe is survived by his wife, Christine Ann (Robinson) Poling, whom he married on July 4, 2018 and loved very much; daughters, Danielle and Delaney Poling; sisters, April (Cashies) Johnson of Logan, Ohio and Pamela McCann of Logan, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Poling; uncles, Dan Bailey and Dave Bailey; and his cousin, Levi Bailey.

A memorial service officiated by Shannon Compton will be held at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio at 6 PM on Friday, March 8, 2024. Visitation will be held from 4 PM until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the Poling family suggests donations in Joe’s memory be made to the Roberts Funeral Home, 60 West Hunter Street, Logan, Ohio 43138.
