Mary Louise Walsh, aged 97 of Logan, Ohio, passed away at the Carlin House in Logan, Ohio on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
Born October 18, 1926, in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George Franklin and Hilda Francis (Carpenter) Hartman.
Mary was a beloved mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Mary is survived by one son, Terrence “Terry” Patrick Walsh of Logan, Ohio; three daughters, Christine Ann Walsh (John) Hansley of O’Fallon, Illinois, Mary Kay (William) Yates of Logan, Ohio, and Susan Carol Walsh (Alan) McKinley of Logan, Ohio; 9 grandchildren, Malinda (Chris) Reynolds, Justin (Amy) Hansley, Jared (Nicki) Hansley, Noah (Heather) Yates, Jacob Yates, Tyler Walsh, Jordan (Jessica) Walsh, Autum (Caleb) Barry, and Katie (Jimmy) Bennett; 16 great-grandchildren, Caleigh Reynolds, Chase Reynolds, Payton (Sierra Lopez) Hansley, Emma Hansley, Carter Hansley, Colton Hansley, Elliana Barry, Crosby Barry, Graham Bennett, Daniel Bennett, Otis Yates, Eleanor Yates, Dominik Walsh, Kavik Walsh, Kellyn Walsh, and Kendyl Walsh; great-great-grandchild, Brielle Hansley; and sister-in-law, Mona Gordon of Logan, Ohio.
Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert “Whis” Walsh (1975); granddaughter, Erika Walsh; great-grandson, Austin Hansley; and brothers, Robert and Richard Hartman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at St. John Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio, officiated by Fr. Stephen L. Krile. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 from 5-7 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio, concluding with a Christian Vigil Service officiated by Deacon Donald A. Robers at 7 PM.
