Betty Lois Goss, aged 101 of Logan, Ohio, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
Born March 16, 1923 in Bremen, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Reverend Ira Newton “Newt” and Melza (Klinger) Burnworth.
During life, Betty was a homemaker. She was a proud member of the Shepherd of the Valley United Brethren in Christ Church in Logan, Ohio, where she was a member of the Women’s Missionary Fellowship.
Betty is survived by her son, Larry W. (Pam) Goss; daughter, Brenda S. (John) Malone; grandchildren, Christopher (Angie) Goss, Carrie Brooke Herring, and Rob (Britney) Malone; great-grandchildren, Benjamin (Aubrey) Goss, Stephen (Jenn) Goss, Caleb Herring, Zachary Herring, and Josie Herring; great-great-grandchildren, Hunter, Coda, Lawton, and Bodhi; and sister, Carolyn Jo Ankrom of Bremen, Ohio.
Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James William “Jim” Goss (2002); grandson, Aaron Joseph Malone; brothers, Earnest, Gene, Newton and Donald Burnworth; and sisters, Louise Bowers, Norma Lent, and Eileen Thomas.
A private family graveside service officiated by Reverend Jack Johnson will be held at a later date.
