Bonnie Bell Lindsey, aged 87 of Logan, Ohio, passed away at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
Born September 16, 1936 in New Straitsville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles William and Ida Garnet (Holcomb) Vickroy.
During life, Bonnie worked in the housekeeping department of the Hocking Valley Community Hospital. She was a proud member of the Freedom Memorial Church in Logan, Ohio. She was also a former member of the Antioch Grange. Bonnie greatly enjoyed sewing, gardening, and tending her flowerbeds.
Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Vicki (Albert) Manley of Logan, Ohio, Jody (David) McGomery of Logan, Ohio, Shellie (Michael) Wright of Logan, Ohio, and Lori (Carl) Smith of Logan, Ohio; sons, Delbert (Natalie) Lindsey Jr. of Logan, Ohio, Kevin (Elaine) Lindsey of Nelsonville, Ohio, and Jeremy Lindsey of Logan, Ohio; 81 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Leroy (Judy) Vickroy and John (Darlene) Vickroy; and sister, Clara (Chuck) Angle.
Besides her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Lee Lindsey Sr.; five brothers; and seven sisters.
A funeral service officiated by Pastor Bruce Livingstone and Pastor Eric Cooper will be held at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Benton Township, Hocking County, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 12 PM until time of service on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
