Brice Mitchel Berry, age 19 of Logan, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in Wayne National Forest, Athens County, Ohio.
Born June 18, 2001 in Lancaster, Ohio he is the son of Kermit Jay and Charlene Ann (Dexter) Berry III of Logan.
Brice attended the Lancaster branch of Ohio University. Music was his passion, as he enjoyed singing and playing multiple instruments including piano, guitar, and bass. Brice was a staple at the Artista Rock School in Logan, where he performed many live shows with his bandmates and friends. He was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God in McArthur, Ohio where he played bass in their worship band. Brice will be missed by many.
Besides his parents, Brice is survived by his brother, Kermit J. Berry IV of Logan; sister, Amber D. (Ty Spence) Berry of Logan; grandmothers, Cheryl Basenback of Logan and Yvonna Berry of Nelsonville, Ohio; niece, Karly Spence; nephews, Jordan and Chase Spence; many aunts and uncles; longtime girlfriend, Mackenzie Maynard of Logan; and best friend, Jasper Jones of Logan.
Brice was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kermit J. Berry Jr. and Thomas G. Dexter.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Roberts Funeral Home-Logan, with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating.
Burial will follow in New Fairview Memorial Gardens- Good Hope Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
