Bridget Eva Elick-Brandon

Bridget Eva Elick-Brandon, aged 71 of Ashville, Ohio, formerly of Logan, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Born July 31, 1954 in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Kathryn (Mundy) Elick.

During life, Bridget worked as a schoolteacher before retiring. She had also worked as a clerk for the Logan City Council and as a secretary for the Logan-Hocking School District. She was a proud and very active member of the former Trinity United Methodist Church in Logan, where she served as an usher, liturgist, and substitute secretary. Bridget also greatly enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles, cruises, and her grandchildren’s basketball games.

Bridget is survived by her daughter, Emily (Jason) Fields of Ashville, Ohio; grandchildren, Blake Elick, Brody Fields, and Bryson Fields; brother, Ellery Elick; sister-in-law, Carolyn Elick; nieces, Stephanie (Elick) Halley and Tisha Elick; and nephews, Jon Elick and Kevin Elick.

Besides her parents, Bridget was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt Brandon; and brother, Stephen Elick.

A graveside memorial service officiated by Pastor Mike Purdon will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio at 12 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
