Carl Randall “Randy” Arnett, aged 80 of Logan, Ohio, passed away at Highland Oaks Health Care Center in McConnelsville, Ohio on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
Born August 4, 1944 in Perry Township, Hocking County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Carl Theodore and Sybil Elnora (Hayman) Arnett.
During life, Randy was owner of Quality Motorland in Logan and Lancaster, Ohio. He had previously worked in law enforcement in Hocking County. Randy was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Opal Linda (Dragoo) Arnett; daughters, Janice Norman of Logan, Ohio and Beth (Dave) McManaway of Logan, Ohio; son, Brian (Melanie) Arnett of Kingman, Arizona; six grandchildren, Dacie and Chaz Sinift, Aerial Smith, Seth and Leith Norman, and Devin Arnett; six great-grandchildren; brother, David M. (Valerie) Arnett of Rockbridge, Ohio; sister, Melody F. (Fred Stufflebeam) Arnett of Logan, Ohio; sister-in-law, Kim Arnett; brother-at-heart, Daniel (Bunny) Arnett; and longtime friend, Dave Spillman.
Besides his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his son, Carl Arnett Jr.; brother, Tim Arnett; and sister, Sharon Arnett.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Roberts Funeral Home, before a military service is conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard at 5 PM. Following the military service, visitation will continue until 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the Arnett family suggests donations in Randy’s memory may be made to Southeast Ohio Foodbank and Regional Kitchen, 1005 C I C Drive, Logan, OH 43138.
