Carmita "Diane" Krannitz

Carmita “Diane” Krannitz, age 73 of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Born April 8, 1948 in Logan, she was the daughter of the late Wayne James and Mildred Carman (Merrill) Dennis.

Diane had retired as a machine operator at Smead Manufacturing in Logan.

She is survived by one daughter, Misty Dawn (Aaron) Krannitz-McDaniel of Logan; one brother, Robert (Sandy) Dennis of Lancaster; two sisters, Kerrill Dennis and Kendra “Punk” Heidlebaugh, both of Logan; six grandchildren, Alicia, Riley, and Leah Chesser, Amanda McDaniel, and Aren and Josh Krannitz; one future great-grandson, Amari Wade; good friend Ellie McMillin; and her furry friend, Molly.

Besides her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Rolland Krannitz; one son, Rodney Lee Krannitz; brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Catherine-Nihiser Dennis; and one sister, Karen Jo Glick.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Roberts Funeral Home – Logan, Ohio with Pastor Ronald Cox officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan.

Friends may call from 5-7 PM on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the funeral home.

The family asks donations be made in Diane’s memory to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
