Carolyn Sue (Kline) McCormick

Carolyn Sue McCormick, aged 78, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born October 25, 1946, in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George Sylvester and Olive June (Wright) Kline.

Carolyn was a 1964 graduate of Logan High School and retired as managing cook for Lancaster City Schools, following 36 years of service. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was a member of craft and various card clubs. Carolyn’s favorite times in life were spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Richard Thomas McCormick; one son, Steve (Melissa) McCormick of Lancaster; one daughter, Jennifer (John) Kilbarger of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Emily (Joey), Derrick, Kaitlyn, and Kolton; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Adalyn; three step-grandchildren, David (Danielle) Shultz, Jennifer (Matt) Hurley and Nick Shultz; numerous step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Richard Kline; and sister, Judith Williams.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 4-6 PM at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio

There will be no other services at this time.
