Charles “Chuck” Ervin Karns, age 80 of Logan, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Born February 27, 1940 in Glouster, Ohio, he was the son of the late Dwight Berdell and Madalyn Fern (Anderson) Karns.
Chuck was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired fireman from the Logan City Fire Department. Chuck was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Logan. He greatly enjoyed gardening and motorcycling.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Eva Flora (Hayes) Karns; one son, Richard L. Karns of Logan; one daughter, Kelly S. Snyder of Heath, Ohio; two stepsons, Steve A. (Jayme) Yates and Jeffrey D. (Rhonda) Yates both of Logan; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Karns of Brandy Hills, Florida; and one sister, Shirley Curry of Glouster, Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the First United Pentecostal Church, 30750 Lake Logan Road, Logan, Ohio 43138.
Burial will follow in Burlingham Cemetery, Meigs County, Ohio with Reverend Michael L. Martin officiating.
Friends may call from 5-7 PM on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Roberts Funeral Home - Logan, Ohio.
