Charles Stephen “Steve” Dalton, aged 81 of Logan, Ohio, passed away at The Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
Born May 10, 1943 in Logan, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles Leo and Dorothy Kathryn (Welch) Dalton.
Steve worked as a supervisor at Logan Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company where he had 35 years of service. He was also a parishioner of St. John Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Jo (Bellar) Dalton; three daughters, Milissa (Jason) Bond of Logan, Ohio, Ashley (JC) Mojzer of Logan, Ohio, and Stevie (Brant) Stimmel of Logan, Ohio; four grandchildren, Dalton Bond, Rileigh (Ashton) Hudson, Kellen Bond, and Briggs Stimmel; great-grandchild, Ledger Bond; sister, Pamela S. (Terry) Kline of Sugar Grove, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Besides his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia M. Mance; and his brother, Gary D. Dalton.
A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Father Jean Luc Zadroga and Deacon Donald A. Robers will be held at 11 AM at St. John Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio on Monday, September 9, 2024. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.
Per Steve’s request, there will be no calling hours held at the Roberts Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the Dalton family suggests donations in Steve’s memory may be made to St. John Catholic Chruch, 351 N. Market St., Logan, OH 43138, or Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, OH 43130.
