Chester William Oiler

Chester William Oiler, aged 77, of Logan, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio. 

Born May 24, 1945 in Wilkesville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Franklin William and Ethel Mae (Thacker) Oiler.

Chester served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. 

He is survived by one son, Todd (Sonya) Oiler; several grandchildren; two brothers, Paul and Doug Oiler both of Lancaster, Ohio; two sisters, Deanna (Jerry) Russell of Logan, Ohio and Geraldine (Harold) Hiles of Lancaster, Ohio.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Oiler; one son, Chad Oiler; one brother, Robert Oiler; one sister, Shirley (Donald) Metheny; and sister-in-law, Joan Oiler.
