Claudette Sue Roush

Claudette “Sue” Roush, aged 62 of Logan, Ohio, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

Born October 21, 1961 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, she was the daughter of Patricia Lou (Mowery) Proctor and the late Claude Proctor Jr.

Sue worked as an STNA for over 20 years. She also worked as a server and cabin cleaner. She had a great love for camping, country music, horses, concerts, dogs, ATV riding, and especially her grandkids.

Besides her mother, Sue is survived by her loving husband, David Lee Roush; daughters, Misty (Chad) Armstrong of Logan, Ohio, Brittney (Daniel) Gillespie of Logan, Ohio; son, David “Kyle” (Brandy) Roush of Logan, Ohio; Crysta (Matt) Fox of Logan, Ohio, who Sue and Dave loved like a daughter; brothers, Greg (Lisa) Proctor of Panasoffkee Lake, Florida and Charles Proctor of Logan, Ohio; grandchildren, Kobie (Annaleece) Reed, Kayden Reed, Nykya Cox, Kameron Armstrong, Keyton Armstrong, Payzli Roush, Jase Roush, Sawyer Roush, Jamie Gillespie, and DJ Gillespie; great-grandchildren, Waylon, Jameson, and Everleigh; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will take place at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio at 11 AM on Monday, December 4, 2023 with Pastor Stephen R. Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Good-Hope Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

Visitation will take place from 4-7 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home on Sunday, December 3, 2023, and from 10 AM until time of funeral service on Monday, December 4, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, the Roush family suggests donations in Sue’s memory may be made to the Hocking County Humane Society, 36960 Hocking Drive, Logan, Ohio 43138.
