Cynthia "Cindy" Marie (Norris) Whalen

Cynthia “Cindy” Marie Whalen, aged 52 of Logan, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at her residence.

Born November 28, 1970 in Tampa, Florida, she was the daughter to Sharon Lee and Larry (Scribner) Foss and the late Aaron Franklin Norris.

Cindy was the Director of Nursing for the Carriage Court of Grove City, Ohio. In her spare time, she enjoyed being with her family and friends and loved kayaking and the game of pool.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Alan Whalen; children, Deanna Tatman, Judson Coakley, Kate and Emma Martin and Ben Whalen; grandchildren, Kylee, Lindsey, Wade, Sophia, Greyson, Karter, Mia, Kiara, Khloe and Kyler; siblings, Jackie (John) Hopper, Mendy (Brian) Smith, Joni Norris, Lacey Sanger, and Kasey and Larry Foss.

Besides her father Franklin, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond and father-in-law, Dennis Baker.  

A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Home, 60 W. Hunter St., Logan with Pastor Dave Sherman officiating.

Friends may call Friday, from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
