David Gene Tilley Sr.

David Gene Tilley Sr., age 69 of Logan, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Logan Care and Rehabilitation- Logan.

Born May 14, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Francis Monroe and Emma Jean (Roberts) Tilley Sr.

David worked in the construction industry as a roofer.

David is survived by two sons, John Wesley (Amber) Tilley Sr. and David Gene (Crystal) Tilley Jr., both of Logan; two daughters, Jennifer Lynn (Monty) Lewis of Shelby, Ohio and Andrea Miller of Xenia, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Frank Tilley of Huntington, Indiana, Jerry Luke Tilley of Lancaster, Ohio, and Marty Tilley of Laurelville, Ohio; six sisters, Joan Loper, Margie Tilley, Carol Barnes, Sally Stevens, Barb Clark, and Betty DeNune.

Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Tilley (2019); two sisters, Phoebe McGomery and Ethel Cordell; three brothers, Monroe, Francis Jr., and Larry Tilley.

A family graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 10:30 AM in Green Summit Cemetery- Adelphi, Ohio, officiated by Joshua Martin.

Arrangements are by Roberts Funeral Home-Logan, Ohio.
