Deanna Lynn Moore

Deanna Lynn Moore passed away with her family by her side, at the age of 65, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Born May 18, 1957 in Nelsonville, Ohio to James and Margie (Kline) Moore, she was the eldest of six siblings and took that role seriously, always watching out for her family.

Deanna graduated from Logan High School in 1975. In her life she took the opportunity to travel the country before ultimately settling back in Logan, where she spent time supporting and loving on her nieces and nephews. You could find her cheering on Ohio State and the Logan Chieftains.

She had a tender heart for fur babies and fostered senior dogs while befriending several cats and dogs of her own including Bear, Zack, Zoey, Chloe, and most recently, Piper. Deanna was such a generous and honest person. A free spirit, with a body that would often let her down, she still had a laugh that would bring a smile to your face.

Deanna leaves behind many loved ones including her mother; siblings, Lisa (Bruce) Umbleby, Lori (Steve) Hoffman, Jamie (Greg) Wilkins, Jim (Wendy) Moore and Jill (Wade) Davis; nieces and nephews, Lindy (Kyle) Hedges-Wright, Meghan (Matt Rogers) Hoffman, Katie Hoffman, Justin Moore, Lane Little, Courtney (Dylan Smith) Moore, Landon Little, Laikyn Little and J’Dyn Davis.

Her father; infant brothers, Lane Edward, Bryan Lee and John Phillip; and infant nieces, Mallory Jean and Marie Olive Hoffman were waiting to greet her.

A Celebration of Deanna’s Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Home- Logan.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
