Dennis Elwood Schorr

Dennis Elwood Schorr, age 78 of Logan, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Born November 24, 1942 in Logan, Ohio he was the son of the late Loren Jasper and Elizabeth (Smith) Schorr.

Dennis was a 1960 graduate of Logan High School. He was employed at Central Oil Field Supply in his younger years; later at Westerman Inc. in Bremen, Ohio, North American-Rockwell in Columbus, Ohio, and retired as a tool and die manufacturer. Dennis enjoyed working on cars and trap shooting competitions.

Dennis is survived by one brother, Frederick L. (Shari) Schorr of Logan; one sister, Holly L. Simmons of Logan; one brother-in-law, James Imboden of Chillicothe, Ohio; two nieces, Beth Ann (Robert) Wing of Lancaster, Ohio and Becky (Brian) Duke of Palm Harbor, Florida; several other nieces and nephews; and grandniece and nephew, Alexia and Michael Wing.

Besides his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Elizabeth (Inboden) Schorr (2012).

A graveside service will take place at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio, with Reverend Roland K. Mitchell officiating.
