Diane Joy (Highland) Hohman, aged 72 of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
Born February 4, 1952 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Walter Herbert and Phyllis Joy (Smith) Highland.
From her early days, Diane carried a nurturing spirit that would later define her roles as a mother and friend. She grew up in Belpre, Ohio, and attended Ohio University where she met and married Ronald Hohman. After marriage, she became a devoted mother to her three children, Ben, Allison, and Zach. Family was at the core of her existence, and she dedicated herself to ensuring her children were supported and loved, creating a home filled with laughter, guidance, and cherished memories. She raised them with love, wisdom, and unwavering support, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will continue to live on in their hearts. Diane’s legacy of love, laughter, and warmth will live on in the memories of her children, her extended family, and the many friends whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Allison (Blaine) Davidson of Logan, Ohio; sons, Ben Hohman of Lancaster, Ohio and Zach (Bre Harris) Hohman of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren, Max, Adley, and Scarlet Davidson and Oliver Hohman; sister, Christine (Grant) Rephann; and brother, Steven (Denise) Highland.
Besides her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Hohman (2002); and her brother, Mark Highland.
A memorial service officiated by Deacon Matthew J. Shaw will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM until time of service at the Roberts Funeral Home on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, the Hohman family suggests donations in Diane’s memory may be made to the Hocking County Humane Society, 36960 Hocking Drive, Logan, OH 43138.
