Donald James Griffith

Donald James Griffith, aged 66 of Shawnee, Ohio, passed away at home on Friday, August 2, 2024.

Born April 25, 1958, he was the son of the late David Samuel and Geneive “Ginger” Catherine Griffith.

During life, Donald worked as a carpenter and as a concrete laborer for Thompson Concrete Ltd. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Shawnee, Ohio.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Candy Lynn (Glick) Griffith; son, Tylor James (Holly) Griffith of Crooksville, Ohio; daughter, Christina Marie (Trevor) McLean of Corning, Ohio; grandchildren; Hunter and Trinity Griffith and Emma, Griffin, Allie, and Claire McLean; brother, Robert “Bobby” Griffith; sister, Erdene (Jay) Martin; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lil and Sam Griffith and Audrey and Dominic Montell; and his sister, Georgia Ann Hartberger.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio officiated by Joshua N. Martin.

Visitation will be held from 11 AM until time of service on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
