Donna Jean (Lehman) Cecil

Donna Jean Cecil, aged 87 of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Altercare North in Newark, Ohio.

Born September 25, 1936 in Haydenville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Creighton Vern and Lauretta (Coakley) Lehman.

Donna was a graduate of Logan High School in 1954 and a 16-year employee of A&P grocery store. She then went into real estate, receiving many awards from H.E.R. Donna was the former President of the Emblem Club of Logan and member of the Lancaster Board of Real Estate and Haydenville Methodist Church. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed watching soap operas, shopping and spending time with her loving family.

Donna is survived by her husband, Robert Eugene “Bob” Cecil; one son, Regan (Jaime Cetina) Hinerman of Hollywood, Florida; two daughters, Kellie Ann (Cullen) Rutter of Union Furnace, Ohio and Julie (Keith) Brown of Bluffton, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Renee (Chad) Slack and Mandy (Missie) Reeves, both of Logan, Ohio; one great-grandchild, Aislynn Slack; former son-in-law, Bob Reeves; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her two sisters, Sheila Crothers and Sharon Lechleidner and her first husband, Keith A. Hinerman, father of her children, with whom she remained close to.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Roberts Funeral Home- Logan. Burial will follow in New Fairview Memorial Gardens- Good Hope Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
